Kitchen Feature wall

In this kitchen facelift and white oak reface project, we removed the wall cabinets along the range and replaced it with our solid floating shelves. Behind it we applied a black Venetian plaster full of texture. We dreamed up a unique way to construct the floating white oak shelves and used special brackets to ensure they can hold up all the plates and dry goods without sagging. I can stand on these they are so strong. This was the 2nd time for me remodeling this space. The first involved fabricating the beautiful countertops, which stayed put in version 2.0.
